Bars Caught Selling Low-Quality Liquor As Premium

The old trick of bars replacing premium liquor with low-quality liquor to increase profits is no longer being tolerated in New Jersey. 29 bars and restaurants, 13 of them being TGI Fridays, were caught by New Jersey officials selling cheap liquor to patrons who thought they were purchasing a premium brand.

The yearlong investigation began after several complaints from patrons.

Have any of you noticed this practice being a common occurrence in most of the restaurants and bars you have worked at?
