Michelle: Dear Cheesecake Factory can I please make a suggestion for people who have allergies. I went for the second time and my order had onion rings and I noticed that they seamed “off” I asked my server if the oil they used to cook the rings and fries in was were they cooked the shrimp and fish in and she did not know but would check for me. Upon returning she she said YES they did they use the same oil for EVERY THING! I am allergic to fish and shell fish and know of others who are, there was nothing listed on your menu stating that the oil was used for every thing; so you may what to list this for future use so people like myself will know. PS I was not even offed something else as a side or a discount so that is something you might want to address also.

So I was going to eat lunch with my family today (10-11-2015), we had decided to go to the Olive Garden in Independence off 40hwy and Noland Rd for my birthday lunch… officer2They were running late getting there so I decided to go inside and wait for them. I walked in and sat down on a bench just inside the doors. As I was sitting there waiting, one of the employees told me ” Sir, we don’t allow guns in here.” Now mind you I am in full police uniform and on duty. I actually thought it was a joke at first so I asked her ” Are you serious?” She replied back with ” Yes”. So I told her ” well I can leave I guess.” She then replied back ” yes please leave”
Now I never in my wildest thoughts would of thought this would happen in the Kansas City area. I see it happening all over the United States to other officers but never thought it would of happened to me.

The Horror That Is The Self-Pay Kiosk

Suzanne: Had lunch at Great Falls, MT, restaurant today. Food and service were fine until we wanted to pay our check. We were presented with an electronic apparatus that was sitting on the table when we arrived, which I had moved out of our way. We laid our bank cards on the edge of the table, and a worker came over to teach us how to pay our check with the apparatus. Isai we would rather not. She proceeded energetically to ignore or wishes, walk us through the procedure, and ask us to tip an sign on the screen, which my friend noted was dirty. When the employee left, my friend and I agreed not to return as we were expected to wait on ourselves. Bye, Applebee’s.

Why Don’t You Comp Our Food Like The Other Restaurants?


Mandee: My husband and I decided to go to Red Robin for dinner last night with our 2 year old son. However, I am not sure why since the last time we went was absolutely awful, and this time was no different.
It took 8 minutes for us to be greeted and to have our drink orders taken. 8! Last time it took 15 minutes so I guess that is considered progress. Pathetic progress nonetheless. When our food arrived my fries were cold and not crispy or golden at all. Disappointing! My sons meal came with a side of broccoli which ended up being brown and chewy and stringy. I always taste his food and examine it before feeding it to him. Let me start by saying that I had to stop my waiter as he walked right past us. He didn’t even ask how our meals were. When I mentioned to him that I could not feed my son what was presented to us, he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. He was completely useless and unapologetic, not to mention he never asked if we wanted drink refills, and when we did ask for more milk for our son, it took 10 minutes!
When we go to Townhall Pub or Boston Pizza, they have NEVER hesitated to remake the order AND remove it from the bill entirely. Your staff could get an excellent lesson from these two establishments on how Customer Service should be. You should be ashamed of yourselves! The whole experience was beyond disappointing, and I can assure you that the chances of us ever coming back are slim to none. I will not be recommending this place to anybody. In fact, I will tell them to steer clear. I hope a manager reads this and takes it to heart.

Server Calls Out Dine And Dasher On Facebook

Lydia: I normally don’t post much on Facebook I try to be pretty positive and post things I find interesting rather then confrontational or negative but I am BEYOND livid. So last night I waited on this young couple and I made sure they had everything they needed and normal server stuff. I recognized the girl because we went to the same high school and probably have mutual friends some where down the line. Well they got there entrĂ©es and so I left them to enjoy it. I filled up there waters a few times but they seemed fine. Next thing I know they are gone. The first table I have ever had to dine and dash. Knowing who the girl was I contacted her via. Facebook and her response is infuriating. I was completely nice and understanding and she was awful. I am a full time student and on top of that this semester I am doing an opera that requires me to lose a full week of work which is extremely stressful. So to have someone this ignorant come and tell me it’s my fault that she left without paying is baffling.
